Yeah, but I would have been just as angry if the dope wore a Reagan mask, or a Batman mask. Any full face mask cuts off vision and limits hearing, but kind of important when a 3,000 pound bull is intent on turning someone into jello out there in the arena before the guy can get back on his feet. Even the best bull rider can get a broken rib or be stunned when a bull throws him off. When that happens, even the best is helpless for at least a few seconds. Those seconds are when a bad bull will go after them with murder in it's heart, and there are several bad ones on the circuit every year.
Not all rodeo clowns try to be funny; some are strictly bullfighters. The pay is the same, the comedy is optional.
Funny or not, they are hired to be bullfighters, who's job is to distract the bull long enough for a cowboy to get on his feet and run for the fence. That's a very serious job, and takes a high degree of skill, athletic ability, and sound judgement. The funny stuff is reserved for the times when no livestock is in the ring. That idiot had a broom, a piece of standard equipment for the bucking events. They don't use brooms when they're doing the funny bits.
All you have to do is ask any pro bull rider what they think about a clown who would intentionally limit his vision and hearing. Even a kevlar vest and an helmet don't protect against a bull who wants to stomp them into a red puddle.
Its perfectly acceptable to ridicule and hurl insults at the President. You think his closest advisors don't mock him behind his back? You think the people who pull his strings don't make him toady up to them?
Screw the Left. Obama is Not God! It's perfectly legal and fine to bash him. Funny, the Left is actually okay and loves mocking and bashing Christians or Jesus or Jews, but you dare ridicule or mock Obama, it's like deficating on 'their' savior
You mean his employer didn't like the job he was doing and decided not to employ him any more? "But, but, but... I wanted to mouth off at work!" Tough, your job is to keep your employer happy and to talk about your politics when your not on the clock. No sympathy and I side with the employer; what he did damaged the employer by alienating customers and anyone with half a brain cell knows that's bad business. He should have just done the job he was paid to do instead of mouthing off in ways his employer didn't approve while on company time.
Clowns exist to make fun of somebody or something and make us laugh. They act silly. That's their job, and that's what this clown was doing. He made people laugh. It wasn't obscene or threatening at all.
But this clown found out that making fun of Obama is not allowed by the local leaders in Missouri. Too bad. Freedom of speech is one of the things that distinguishes us from Big Government Socialist countries like Russia, North Korea and Cuba.
Back in the day at one of the local county fairs there was a clown in a dunking booth that would hurl insults at people trying to dunk him, and those in passing. He was quite a hoot, and not necessarily for the feint hearted. He was at this fair every year for years, and had quite an audience. In fact we'd stand their for at least an hour at a time just listening him to make fun of people! Then one day, he was gone. And I'm guessing it is because somebody got offended! In fact I had heard that he had to have a police escort a few times, because as I said he was a bit edgy. The way to shut him up was to dunk him (which I did). It's too bad he is gone, because the dude was freakin' hillarious!!!
It's blasphemy to make fun of Obama just like it is to make fun of Allah. Just ask the Lefties, Don't DARE insult their God/Prophet/Messiah! The Left is just as bad as Islam when it comes to insulting their Deity.
