Yep. Go back to when GW was POTUS ... the left found it pleasurable to demean him. Now that it's their boys turn ... wah, wah, wah.

Lib hypocrisy.

No one attempts to make the president a villain ...No one takes him that serious to paint the guy as some evil genius that is up to no good...They simply make fun of the little goof...so what is the big deal- The trend these days is that light weights only enter politics. So we make fun of flakes trying to be important.

And that, my friends, is the bottom line truth.

You're that concerned that people might waste their time and energy?

“You have attributed conditions to villainy that simply result from stupidity.â€
- - - Robert Heinlein

Do the president's blunders and trampling of rights stem from villainy or stupidity?

I don't know that I would call all points attacks. Many are valid based on what Obama's platform was when he ran for president. He should not have made promises he couldn't keep.
Obama care. He ran on a platform to fix the rising cost of health care. He instead passed a law that forces Americans to buy a product. This has done nothing to address the rising costs in health care.
Immigration. He claims he is for reform. He claimed that illegals would have to follow the same path as legals. Who does he parade on stage for the public? A chemical engineer. He misrepresents the average illegal by doing this stunt. This is no different than a vitamin company displaying the pic of a body builder and claiming he got that way from their vitamins.
He misrepresents facts at will and wonders why he gets called on it.

"If" they did? No "if," they did!

The leftists were whining about the "poor" economy during the Bush years even when it dropped below 6% and eventually, under 5%!

Right where the Left already was.

THANK YOU for at least responding to my post. Most people on here, in typical CD fashion, just read what they want and respond with faux outrage. You clearly took the time to understand what it was that I was asking enough to question my motives.

You don't know me at all. Please understand this is the truth, yes I really do think it's a waste of time. I don' mind his critics, hell I've been one of his critics over REAL issues.

Again, it was obvious what happened in his first term, so painfully obvious. He was president for less than a YEAR before those idiotic billboards with GW saying "Miss me yet?" started making their rounds. The right was trying to demean him immediately before he had a chance to do practically anything. Of course the purpose was to make him look as bad as possible so that he wouldn't be re-elected.

They knew, as ironically this thread has kinda proven, that some people only pay attention to headlines. "The President is a Muslim" "..is a Marxist" "...is not from this country." "...did not graduate college." "The first lady spends $200,000,000 a day of tax payer money whilst overseas" They believed that those lies would lead the simple minded to vote against him in 2012, NOT based on real issues but on lies.

He won't be re-elected in 2016, he can't. So when I see the lies making their rounds like "Obamacare to force people to implant microchips..." and "The president puts his dog on it's own private plane" I just have to wonder, and perhaps the title of this thread should have been written differently - I gave posters too much credit to actually read what they were responding to, Why does the right still feel the need to LIE about the president?

Everyone with their "Well the left did it with Bush" "Well the president said this, did that" or anything else has NOTHING to do with this conversation. This isn't a liberal vs conservative discussion, it's not even left vs right. It's a "Even if you think Obama is the single worst president in the history of this country, that is fine and you are welcome to that opinion, but Why does the right still feel the need to LIE about the president?

20 bucks says within the next page SOMEONE is going to say "Well we had to put up with it when the left vilified GW."

You are 100% correct. All points are NOT attacks. These are real issues that people can debate in reality.

Again, this is not what this thread is about. The thread is about the lies.

Is it so out of the realm of understanding? Has American politics gotten to the point that when someone simply asks "why not stick to the facts and argue those instead of making up outlandish lies to vilify someone?" That the concept is so foreign that people don't get the question?

Is it REALLY that hard to understand what I'm asking?
