too long Dude. You can't start a thread and ask people to read some lengthy article like that. Highlight something.
Anyway, he lost me in the following paragraph. I'm sorry but everybody does not want freedom, many prefer to be taken care of. Freedom means the freedom to fail, and the collective will not tolerate winners and losers, so they choose to make us all mediocre, under the security blanket of rulers that make decisions for us.

First of all I should tell you that, from my observation, collectivists and individualist, for the most part, are all good people. They want the best life possible for their families, for their countrymen, and for the world - for mankind. They all want peace, prosperity, and justice. They want freedom. Sometime they disagree over what the tradeoff should be for freedom; but, still, they all want the good things for their fellow man. Where they disagree is how to bring those things about.
No, not all people are good or want the best for their fellow man. That is a false premise. Happiness and self fulfillment comes from individual challanges that life brings to each one of us. If we are all insulated from those challanges, and not allowed to take responsibility for the decisions that allow us to grow, then life isn't really worth living. imo
There are selfish, wicked people that don't give a damn about anybody or anything but themselves.
