Of course you hated Bush and gave a pass to Powell and Rice because they are black and you are black.. If Bush were black you would give him a pass too..
That was a pretty chickenshyte response, I respected Powell and I still did not like Rice and I'm black! So please explain why that is so?
Actually he had a better lawyer than the prosecution which were sleep walking through the trial because there is no way in D hell that I man who was suppose to have had a "MMA Style" beating on wet grass would only come out with minor cuts on his head and nose, and leave with a dry unsoiled jacket, but if you really want to believe that......
Under no situation would he be legitimately convicted of murder. Murder has certain specifications that just were not met here.
Should the prosecution went with charges that they could have possibly got a conviction on? Yes, but the complaints would still be the same.
It was an astounding interview - a man of Colin Powell's stature to denounce our Judicial System and speak of the "racism" (because he chose to join the race merchants) "down there". That's the worst of it for all these "men of Stature". Powell, Oabma, Holder ..... they are denouncing our entire Judicail System because they personally don't like the verdict over what they perceive as a "race issue". The fact of the matter is that if George Zimmerman had been a Black Man - Not a single soul would have ever heard of this case. It's the first time in our history that a Hispanic kills a Black man and the Whites are blamed for the entire thing. It all makes perfect sense to them. A trial and verdict make no difference at all - the "system is flawed".
I would like to say "unbelievable", but there is the video tape that will live on forever. What a way to end an amazing career of service to this country. I can't think of another man in our history with such a record of accomplishment - it really makes a person think. Was he always this way? Did he always feel this "racism"? What did he not accomplish that he thinks was denied him because of "racial injustice"?

Do these people have any idea at all about how they are alienating people in this country? Not just White and Hispanic people, but there are a lot of Blacks that are very concerned with these never-ending accusations of racist-racist-racist-racist. The victimhood is embarrassing - to see that victimhood in a man like Colin Powell is just astounding. Everyone should really think about that.

Personally, and I'm no lawyer but they should have went for manslaughter in the first place. I don't think that he was a racist per se, but he did follow him when he should not have. Now if I could figure that simple fact out why could'nt people with law degrees do the same?
I suppose so if I was going to lump an entire group together with the actions of a few.
Floridians aren't a group now? they choose their leadership. I choose where I spend my money. I have no obligation to the state of florida or the people who live there. their government, made up of the republicans they vote for, who make the laws that keep people like me away are the ones who are letting them down.
