Well, that would certainly be likely to change the ease with which congress votes for war but we KNOW that ain't gonna happen.
In many ways I think the best thing for the country would be if Obama attacked without Congressional mandate and Congress worked up the cojones to impeach him, I think it's long overdue we overhaul the way we enter undeclared wars.

Please show where the President is talking about sending anyone into Syria or learn what is actually being proposed.
Please show how bombing Assad will make the rebels better people.
The notion that Iran will become bold if we don't bomb Syria could easily been avoided by not making threats.
We are concerned about the alleged 1400 victims of the gas attack which to date still has not been proven that Assad had a hand in it. Where is the concern when our ally Israel lays waste when they flex their muscle? Oh right, those darned arabs deserved it. In this case we have 2 sides fighting who are pretty much equally bad. No matter which side we bomb we help a bad guy.

Our secretary of state should go and fight as well seeing how he has all that wartime experience and a self made millionaire and all.
