Given the USSR is the global ground zero for heroin trafficking and per capita addiction, they might want to consider doing something similar.

Those opposed to the DEA are either ignorant of the impact of hard drugs or benefit from trafficking.

Whatever it takes to take a truckload of Meth, Heroin or Cocaine off the streets is a good thing in my book.

The War on Drugs is nothing more than a revenue stream for the government.
It will never end.

We found we can perpetually be at war now. The days of finite fighting another country are long gone.

That's a ridiculous statement. I would say it's completely the opposite.

Is it not possible (actually proven) that the war on drugs has funneled more drugs into the country while benefiting corrupt officials monetarily and increasing corruption as a whole within government?

When the "good guys" can financially benefit from a war why would they want to end that war ?
