The Misery Index left by Carter was three times higher than that left by Bush.

By the end of his first term, Reagan had cut it in half with unemployment reduced to 7.3%.

The 7.8% Misery Index inherited by Obama is now 8.8% and unemployment was exactly the same at the end of Obama's first term as when he took office.

Why don't you come back when 8 years have actually passed and ask this question? We still have over 3 to go on Obama's second term.

We are in the middle of a Gordeon knot of big problems right now, with 4 or 5 major problems simultaneously that we're all trying to deal with. Many are intertwined with others. In 3 years, some with have been resolved, such as our military departure from Afghanistan, and others will have come to a resolution, like Obamacare.

Given the speed and depth of rapid change we have all witnessed for the past 15 years, many of the things on your list, hawkeye, may be ancient history by 2016. The one thing that is very apparent is how quickly major things arise and fall now, and that's only going to continue and become even faster with every technology advance.

But some will most likely linger on, and there will always be new crises arising. Some will be momentary, but for sure, some will be longer lasting. Trying to predict right now what the outcomes will be is sort of nonsensical, I think, and is pretty much just jumping the gun.

Well that first almost 62% isn't working out well thus far.

Oh, psssst, libs don't control, the House has a R majority.

"Reagan caused me to live in my pickup"?

I'm sure you yourself had nothing to do with that.

I'm no Obama fan, but even I laughed at that one. The GOP truthfully should hope Hillary is healthy enough to get reelected in 2020, as there is a true very liberal contender behind her who would also win.NY's governor Cuomo.

Only Christie can possibly avoid him being sworn in.

He'd destroy all the other contenders except HC. And the Dems will own the WH for decades to come until the GOP grows up and embraces a demographically changed America that occured while they pretended Ozzie & Harriet was still an active tv show.

Reid makes sure things sent from the House never see the light of day in the Senate whenever possible for him to do so.

Goes along with my post above, same point.

I'll be Medicare-eligible in exactly 9 days but I'll call it like it is: Score: Mac_Muz 0, borregokid 1.

Re the OP's title question: "Okay libs- you will have had 8 years. Now what?", I can only reply ~I dunno, check back after we've had 8 liberal years. So far we've had only 5 moderate/mixed years~
