Day after WW2 vets went past Obamacades to see open air memorial in their honor, more park services employees are sent to the WW2 memorial to erect more Obamacades and make them harder for WE2 vets to get through.

Right, Republicans ordered the parks workers to barricade open air memorials that are open to the public 24/7 and cost nothing for visitors to see.

All national parks and memorials are patrolled by the National Park Police. You layoff the police, you close the park. This ain't brain surgery (all though a brain surgeon might be appropriate to transplant a brain into Republicans).

The Police were not layed off... In fact the news said they now have 2-3x the normal number of Park Police there now, then when its open.

The Park Rangers are working without pay. You cannot have people visiting the park grounds and leaving trash and debris when there is no one there to clean the parks. Do you think the national monuments and the grounds around them clean and maintain themselves? The people who do those jobs have been furloughed. Tell the teapublicans in congress to pass a clean CR and everyone can go back to enjoying our national parks and monuments.

As John Stewart so aptly pointed out, while Republicans are bemoaning the shut down of the WW2 monument, a shut down of their own choosing, hundreds of aged veterans are not getting food deliveries by groups like Meals on Wheels, but hey, where's the photo-op for that?
