Its not going to happen, there are KEY people that will refuse to allow it... so its just a dead issue...

yes as a side issue, the taxes on marijuana is for too high.

We can't just split up states that are currently politically divided. Colorado belongs as one state.

We feel the same way in SW CO Denver is a giant Pimple on our state.Proud to see my Sherrif on the cover of the NRA magazine.We need to loose Denver and all the transplants moving there to save Colorado

Their plan of action is well thought out where they try to gain statehood by ballot initiatives and horse trade so congress will pass it. But I also think they will fail due to they can not match the liberal turn out of Denver/Boulder. Too bad they do not embrace freedom and let them go in form a new state. They are going to have to accept that they live under democractic elected liberal tyranny.

Under the "original recipe", the perpetual union of states was created to mutually defend and secure the rights of the American people.
Splitting off N.Colorado should have zero impact on that goal.

However, remember that the servant government was instituted to secure the rights of the sovereign people.
