I was wondering about that too. Not only them, but all of the others that you would expect to be doing big protest marches in DC. You would think that Democrats would be marching to protest the Republicans, and vice versa, that those looking forward to Obamacare would be marching to protest attempts to defund it, and that federal employees not being paid would be marching to protest. Even the unemployed worried about the end of their government checks could be expected to protest. Maybe people are actually happy to have the government shut down?

Oh, they are around. You can see their facists posts - must blame private enterprise, other people for any and all problems, most importantly brook no dissension or other opinions, knowing that only "the" government is wise enough to know what is best - all through these threads.
How else does one explain the need to minimize, denigrate and destroy the voices of the 'small minority' in Congress. That is straight out of the facist playbook.
