It's this ugly attitude right here that turns so many people away from the Republican party. Positive, dynamic leaders (future leaders of America) are not attracted negative, hateful rhetoric.
Spew away. Each and every time, someone else leaves your party.
is this coming from the party that gave us this positive upbeat ad?
I find the entire thread a little ridiculous when, demographically speaking of course, support for traditional American values is eroding away to never return.
Soon enough America will represent the values of Mexico, Somalia, Pakistan, India and Guatemala.
To the young who support such values I say enjoy the diversity.

And what exactly is "traditional" in your little world? Lemme guess, its back to a time when them scary looking darkies knew their place? Good riddance to such outdated crap I say.
There is a lot of truth in that. The Tea Partiers who I usually agree with on economic issues are really going about achieving their agenda in the wrong manner. Particularly when they threaten not to pay our bills which is also a bit of fiscal insanity.
Sure, because spending money we don't have and never will have to buy votes is the product of clarity.
So there's an intermittent discussion happening on another thread, and that discussion's about whether or not support for the GOP is growing among any particular demographic groups.
Let's separate out that discussion, and let's give it some actual fact-based consideration. Are there any demographic groups that are shifting their support toward the GOP, or are conservatives who make that claim just whistling past the graveyard?
I'm sure everyone has their opinions and beliefs on the subject, but that's not what I'm looking for. I'm interested in what can be *demonstrated* and *proven,* hopefully with empirical data and ideally that includes links to crosstabs and methodology.
Please bear in mind that "growing" in this context means 'increase in percentage terms.' A given demographic might be increasing in size, but that doesn't mean that an increasing *percentage* of that demographic group is shifting towards supporting the GOP.
The question pertains to support for the Republican Party, but support for both parties has eroded as voters have soured on politicians who put party before constituents.
Political outsiders, to include independents, libertarians, Constitutionalists and Tea Party Republicans, are despised by party faithful on both sides of the isle.
If anyone would like to eulogize the Republican Party, don't forget to mention the Democratic Party.
