You've basically hit the nail on the head. These types of operations have been carried out for decades in secret (hence the name "covert ops" but it's simply the Obama administration that seems to enjoy leaking this stuff. Every other major news source was claiming it was the Brits, Israelis, and Turks. That is a "win" in covert ops, but I guess it didn't provide the appropriate amount of endzone spiking to divert attention from the budget and debt ceiling fiasco.
Why's that? And see if you can answer without sounding like an angry old lady.
