Oakland is a great city. Take the time to understand crime statistics, as well as actual facts.

if you a group of people that make up 13% of the population, but they commit over 50% of the crime, that would justify that profiling is good.

So this group of people are a monolithic group of people? There are no differences within this group of people? - class (social, economic), ethnicity, culture, geographic location, lifestyle, values, religion, etc?

Comments like yours was the same voices behind slavery and the continued oppression in America today.

Furthermore....according to the FBI Uniform Crime Reports (2012)

Murder and non-negligent manslaughter
White: 48.2%
Black: 49.4%

Robbery
White: 43.9%
Black 54.95

^ The ONLY crime categories in which Blacks commit more crime than Whites. ^

All Crime
White: 69.3%
Black: 28.1%
