Nice to see that thread title was changed. Sad that a number of people on here lack basic respect for another man's wife. Anyway, not really concerned about the WH garden.

The only things that moochelle and osama have planted are victimhood, socialist ideas into the blood stream of American dummycrats.

This is a faux garden, not a farm. If this first wookie can't pick her own crops, she should have never destroyed the White House lawn by planting them.

Mrs. Roosevelt had a "Victory Garden", I don't think she was the gardening type...

OK, what about nonessential services do you not understand?

I love to see RWNJs get their silky drawers in a wad over nothing.

Actually, from the article, MOST of what was grown is laying on the ground rotting!
My wife and I got everything out of our garden, and she canned pickles and froze vegetables for several days.
Somehow, I just can't see the obamas out in the garden pulling weeds and harvesting produce, just as I can't see them in the White House kitchen slaving away over a hot canner preserving the vegetables.
It is very obvious that nothing like that is going to happen!

does your anger extend to all presidents in regards to WH maintenance or is it specific to this situation?

the current annual salary for POTUS is $450,000.00. the annual budget for WH grounds maintenance ( not including employee salaries ) is $6,057,000.00.
