We can blame congress all we want for the debt crisis, but remember, we elect these people. When we quit acting like 4 year olds, Congress might get something done. Each side has to be willing to compromise, but because we want our representatives to stay on the party line, they can't agree to anything.

Good, I hope they don't do anything. When Congress runs our lives, that's when bad things happen.

They gave you Obamacare. What else do you want them to do? Making more laws is not going to improve the economy.

This Nation's goverment was built on compromise, and it worked until just before the civil war (war of northern agression to southerners) and then worked again until today when we are again at a point where neither group wants to comprise. Sad thing is people on both sides want to send more Reps to Washingtoon that belive in no compromise. Clue: No compromise lead to a war once before, is that what you want or do you want them to simply do what is best for the Nation and keep the wheels turning, think when you vote in November, your future can depend on it.

I have given this considerable thought and will not be voting for the group that has held us back on so many things in the Senate. You were referring to that kind of voting, I suppose.

I don't want Congress doing anything. Anytime I hear the word "bipartisan" I shudder. That's the surest sign we're all about to get screwed. They "came together" on the "Patriot" Act, FISA, warrantless wiretapping, the Iraq War, TARP, Obamacare, bail outs, etc. I'd rather they just sit there place blame on each other. If we are in need of salvation it ain't coming from Washington.

you do realize that there is a fiscal cliff coming and that we compromise to avoid going back into a recession. I don't see how congress doing nothing is going to benefit anybody.
