My God!!!!! Its a friggin WEB SITE!!!!!!!!!!!! Who else but the United States government spends this kind of dough on a web site, let alone one that doesnt work?!?!?!?!

Id love to see the complete breakdown of spending on this, where exactly this money went.

Possibly, but everytime I hear what they spent on a website, I DIE laughing my ass off..

I once worked on a HIPPA compliant website, and we balked at the price tag of $1M.. And that was to manage MULTIPLE states AND customers...

i dont understand the technical requrements of healthcare.gov well enough, particularly the back end.

i do know that $400 million oughta buy you one hell of website.

but then, the government was paying contractors $400 / gal for gasoline in afghanistan ... per the GAO Bush wasted $2.7 billion just on overpriced contracts from Halliburton ... so this isn't exactly a new problem.
