Why?

It's not anyone elses responsibility to pay you according to need.

Follow this if you're capable.....Mary is an 18 year old HS dropout living with her parents and working at BK....she earns minimum wage....Jane is 30 years old and a single mother of two who works right next to Mary at BK doing the same job. Should Jane earn more than Mary?

Sometimes children happen, not everything in life is planned. Also what about those people who have children and are hit with hard times and have to take a minimum wage job, should they get rid of their children cause they can no longer afford them?

When did people mistake these jobs for something one was supposed to do past their teenage years, or as a retiree?

Seeing folks at McJobs in their prime earning years is the underlying problem. Where is their motivation?

No, they should be earning the same pay if they are at an equal in their employment. Which that pay should be based off a living wage of that area.

We are a service industry country now, we gave away our manufacturing jobs in the name of "free trade."

We still have millions of mfg jobs, and many service jobs pay well. McJobs pay McJob wages.

So knowing that, responsible people prepare.

I've lost jobs but I've developed skill sets which will always allow me to earn a living without missing a beat.

I have life insurance, car ins, homeowners ins, flood ins, health ins, sewage problem ins (inside the house and outside), I have a warranty on all cars, appliances and services.

Simply refrain from sex until you're ready.

What are people? Animals? Can't control their primal instincts?

That's YOUR responsibility, not someone elses.

If they can't do that then they either get a job that pays more so that they can work 1 job instead of two or three(like Harrier did) or they modify their spending habits so that they can live on the income from the current job(s) (like Harrier did).

Harrier did that with no car, also.
