This surely won't help the obesity campaign she is on. Not one squeak out of the white house about this. I guess it's only fair the poor be able to eat fast food that's paid for by others no matter how fat they get.

"Yum! Brands, based in Louisville, Ky., which operates a string of restaurants that includes Taco Bell, KFC, Long John Silver’s and Pizza Hut, are among those applying for inclusion in the food stamp program, saying that elderly, disabled and homeless people have difficulty preparing meals.

This is regulated at the state level.

Fast Food Chains Getting Into the Food Stamp Act - ABC News

Are you saying that you want a Federal Regulation on how food stamps can be spent?

I think in order to qualify as a "meal" there should be certain nutritional elements involved, the junk that these places are handing out is not a "meal." by any means.

Shot down? LOL. I'll believe that when I see it. Just another way to buy votes using taxpayer dollars for the Obama.

What exactly does a fast food chain applying at the STATE level of Kentucky for fodo stamps to be accepted have to do with the Federal Government or President Obama?

What in the h*ll is wrong with lawmakers in those states that allows the taxpayers money to be spent on fast food? Combo meals at many fast food places run 7-9 dollars. For the price of one fast food meal, I can shop and make lunches for a week or more. I realize it's "only" the taxpayers money, as such lawmakers have no sense of accountability.

McDonald's has some of the cheapest calories on the planet. WOW! Golden Corral, too?
I love Golden Corral.

Dude. Buffet. Look at those Peas.

The buffets have an array of meats, pastas, pizzas, vegetables and a salad bar. The restaurants also have a bakery and dessert café.

They know what makes us happy.
