Yes, she said it. Rosie O'Donnell, hosting the 10th annual fundraiser for her very charitable For All Kids Foundation, was riffing and having fun from the dais during an auction of pricey gifts such as spending a day on the set of "Nip/Tuck" or taking a 14-day cruise in the Mediterranean on a luxury liner.
"George Bush is a war criminal," she blurted out. Earlier she’d told the audience in the ballroom of the Marriott Marquis that New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg was her candidate.
News: Rosie O'Donnell is not an elected official and has no power to do anything in this world!
I don't think too highly of Mr. Bush myself, but I value the opinion of the rank and file voter more than Rosie O'Donnell's. Celebrities live in fantasy land and cannot offer an informed opinion on anything because they pretend for a living. Tell me what a coal miner, a teacher, a truck driver, and a police officer think-Paris, Brad, and Britney can keep their opinions to themselves.
She has an ax to grind with the Bush family partly because she and her homosexual partner were not allowed to adopt a child in Florida (she blamed then governor Jeb Bush). Rosie has a warped sense of power and entitlement and if someone crosses her she seeks vengance.
Scary? Yes. Dangerous? I think not...Well, maybe if someone stripped you naked, rolled you in butter and then covered you with cinnamon and sugar and locked you in a room with her. Seriously-the right needs to re-evaluate just who is "dangerous."
