Nor do I. In churches I have led, when someone brings up partnering with the SA for events, I explain their anti-gay positions and how I am not in favour of doing anything to help them. We still do the same amount of charity type work we would have done with them, but with a more open, equitable group.
You are openly "gay" and you lead "churches?" What kind of chuch do you lead? Certainly not a Christian Church.

You know, I used to be a big fan of the Salvation Army, but this crosses a line. I mean I understand their right to not support the LGBT community and that's perfectly fine! What is not acceptable, however, is the fact that they call for the death of said community just because it says to do so in the bible.
Sorry Salvation Army, you get no more money from me.
Islam says the same thing -- only Islam also says Jews and Christians must be put to death and you'll never ever ever see a liberal complain in any way about Islam.

Many people forget that first and foremost ... the "Army" is a religious group. It's charity is contingent on the opportunity to do missionary work and raise money for its own religious efforts. For many years now it's been known that the Army funds hate groups. I stopped giving, in the Xmas buckets, maybe 20-years ago when I learned how bad this organization is. Support the Army and you support hate. There are many worthy charities to give to without giving to groups such as the Salvation Army.
The spokesperson who was doing the interview said it, so yes they did; however, the top execs of the SA didn't say, so you're half right.
Seriously, you believe this statement. Where's the proof besides this person you give such high praise?

Old or not, it's still disgusting that thinking like this exists.
Romans speaks more about the "godless" and I have to say many gays are Godless. Death is a separation from God, not actual killing of people. Amazing how people can't get this part!
