Dylan Davies admitted to have fabricated many of his actions on the night of the Diplomatic Mission attack in Benghazi, Libya.

60 Minutes' Lara Logan explained On Air on CBS' Morning News why she went with his account even with others raising "red flags" on his story.

Quote:
A "60 Minutes" spokesman declined to elaborate. But reports elsewhere said that Davies had told the FBI previously that he did not visit the U.S. compound on the night of the attacks. That contradicted his interview with correspondent Logan, in which he said he barged his way into the mission during a ferocious battle and found the body of American ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.

Overall, his story was used to buttress CBS' implication that top U.S. officials downplayed the terrorism threat in Benghazi prior to the attacks and failed to protect or rescue personnel there once the situation grew dire.

This is what happens when you have a Bald Face Liar such as Dear Leader running your country. Reporters trying to chase down facts in what should have been resolved in Sept 2012 had the Banana Administration just come clean to begin with instead of blaming their failures on a stupid video. And we still don't know what happend other than Onumbnuts flew off to a fundraiser the next morning just a few short hours after our Ambassdors body was being dragged thru the streets.

Actually Bulldog is correct. Logan and Issa are looking for the "black cat" of truth in an empty dark room.

Obots hate the truth when presented, they much prefer Dear Leaders lies. Keep on keepin on

I would have liked to see 60min crash and burn back when Rather made a fool of himself.
