As an IL state Senator Barack obama voted against the Born Alive Infant protection ACT multiple times. This act would have required that doctors provide life saving measures for babies who survived bothced abortions. Not even NARAL and Planned Parenthood opposed the bill, yet Obama did.

I don't like him, but that is a pretty high bar and he isn't there yet. J. Edger Hoover is my winner. No, he wasn't elected, but he definitely had a large impact on the political landscape of his time. The truly evil ones tend to hide from the limelight and prefer to play puppet master.
