The article that the RWNJ writer refers to does NOT say PB&J is racist. It says that talking only about foods that your students never heard of makes for shoddy teaching.
You never get tired of this simplistic, made-up stuff sent to you from Breitbart, do you?
“Another way would be to say: ‘Americans eat peanut butter and jelly, do you have anything like that?’ Let them tell you. Maybe they eat torta. Or pita.” ......................................... Next time you’re in the bread aisle at the grocery store, you may want to think twice. Sensitive liberal educators are now recommending the “torta” or the “pita” as a more culturally inclusive alternative.
So the author of the article didn't even read his own article, did he?
They aren't "racist"; they are products of "White privilege".
And in the letter sent to staff:
