the couple took the receipt and scanned it onto photoshop and removed the information. this is stuff anyone can do. look at the waitresses receipt and the receipt they gave to the news station. the one given to the news station was a printed one, the paper is bright white which is a clear indicator with no creases or folds. its computer sheet paper.
the visa charge could easily be added using photoshop as well.
the only way to know is to look at there computer and see if there was a charge for 111.00

it would be very easy to tell if it wasn't thermal paper. the bright white appearance doesn't mean squat except that the photo was taken in different lighting conditions than the facebooked one.
the lack of folds is completely irrelevant.
For the attention she's getting? Assuming her story is true, why do we even know about it? Why not mutter all sorts of names about them and throw away the receipt? That's what most people do that don't get a tip.

Okay, then why are you taking one side versus the other if this is something anyone can do?
Why would you even go there with this bull****? More importantly, why would two random people seek to insert themselves into this controversy?
At least try to be intellectually honest when formulating your opinions. Because the tripe you posted here is worthless.
go where.
just because you dont want to hear that this stuff can easily be altered doesnt mean they didnt do it.
people cant be so naive with these things and just think ah hah, it was a lie when the evidence presented is not nearly enough to prove they didnt write that.
like i said, look at the computer system and see what was charged, that answers everything.

The couple are suing the franchise.
The franchise cannot find the original receipt now.
Dayna has received $2K in the paypal account she set up for herself.
Dayna now says "She doesn't know but she didn't write it".
If Dayna posted the original receipt on Facebook then why doesn't she produce it ?

Of course it's possible.
But reason tells us that there's only ONE reason to refute someone... Because they're wrong.
Nobody had any motivation to do this... Except that it was wrong.

The couple provided NBC with their Visa bill which had the total with tip.
Neither the restaurant nor the waitress have provided that receipt that showed up on Facebook.
The restaurant nows says they are investigating.
