It's an interesting idea, but Däniken's books are a fraud and he is a lunatic felon. The idea is great for Star Trek and sci fi plots, but anything even remotely equating it to real science has proven to be issues coming from a problem mind.

he may or may not be a fraud, i dont know. but that doesnt negate the theory that we have been visited in the past, and that those aliens may or may not have manipulated the DNA of mans ancestors. as i said, i dont necessarily believe it, but it is intriguing. and i will admit that the evidence is sketchy at best.
