It affects the media and how people get their information. It's not about forcing you to vote for someone, it's about the misinformation from both side that is influencing people's votes.

Obama lied when he said that if you liked your insurance you can keep it, period. That wasn't about money. That lie didn't influence votes? How is it solving anything by putting restrictions on only one side of the equation?

Everything isn't a lie either. Many times the money is spent on an alternative opinion. Why is it that only politicians should be the ones stating their opinions but others shouldn't be able to?

The argument took the assumption that this money was used to create lies that influence people. First, there wasn't a single example shown, it was simply a case of guilt based upon assumptions.

So if the problem is lies used to influence people, why is it only a problem with this?

Second, I asked the question why it is that it's somehow O.K. to allow only one side of the equation to lie with no one to challenge the lies?
