I couldn't find a link but according to Donald Trump on Piers Morgan Live, there is a new idea floating around about having two separate minimum wages; one for younger college age students and a higher one for older people supporting a family with kids.....

Who comes up with this garbage?

If older people think it's difficult to find a job now, just you wait. If anything like this ever becomes a reality, no one with kids will ever be able to find an unskilled labor job again!

If you work at a fast food place or a big box store and you can't support your family on that, FIND A BETTER PAYING JOB!!!!!! Easier said then done, but those are the breaks.

Donald couldn't even make decent profits off a casino. Who would take his advice?

I'm sure I've heard dumber ideas but right now I'm struggling to remember any.

Donald Trump on Obama's ‘selfie,’ unemployment and 2016 unknowns

"You don't want to do anything that's going to keep the incentive away for whether it's McDonald's expanding in this country. At the same time you have to let people live," Trump said, suggesting there was merit in the idea of having two minimum wages - one of high school-age kids and another for people who have families to raise.

Those jobs are gone by the score. Thems the brakes when the ruling class start losing their heads. History proves this and the ruling class know this.

No merit to the idea at all, in fact one minimum wage is partiially responsible for the unemployed there are now.

So you think minimum wage should be lower?

Yeah, that was my first thought, the guy is such a hack at anything outside of apartment building, and even that he is mediocre at.

Should be determined by the employer.

What the minimum wage ultimately says is - I don't trust people to do the right thing and pay people appropriately for the work they perform.

Well - maybe some employers are unethical - let the people decide if they want to work for that person.

It has been tried elsewhere. Whoever gets the lower rate finds lots of entry level work and moves up. Outside of that favored group, you're screwed.

The "minimum wage" does not and never will work. It simply makes a certain group of people unemployable... the higher you raise it, the larger that group is.
