It is a very bizarre situation that seems not to be dying down any time soon.
The two resignations have only fueled speculation that something really underhanded actually did occur.
Much ado about nothing. Ask a Republican in Oklahoma or Iowa or Wisconsin or Georgia or North Carolina or California whether they give a damn about who ordered two lane closures on the GW Bridge leading into Manhattan?
LOL
Sink Christie?
Now that's a real knee slapper there!
I did not say this will sink him but it should give those folks reservations. Government should not be about settling scores. Is he going to do this as president? Close bridges in the states that did not vote for him? I do not even know that Christie himself had knowledge that this was going to occur, but it was his appointee that was in charge. I would like to see Christie outraged about what his appointee did instead of just trying to avoid the topic. His lack of outrage is what makes me believe he did know.

Yeah, with Christie's BMI, I'm pretty sure you'd have to fit him with a pair of cement loafers.
Course, they know how to handle that stuff in NJ...

As a GWB loyalist, I am offended. I have put many dollars into that bridge.
