And what are your professional qualifications for calling the Doctor ignorant? Do you possess a medical degree? Or are you one of the multitude of bodies cycled through a vocational school, trained in the "complexities" of taking temperature and blood pressure readings, while considering yourself an expert from those occasional sales sessions provided by pharmaceutical sale reps, and the occasional reading of a Merck produced sales brochure?

Humphries is a medical doctor with supposedly a degree in physics, yet she promotes homeopathy, which real physicists tell us is pure hokum. It does not take a medical degree to tell Humphries is full of it. My suspicion is that she finds patient care too difficult.

Gates did not say what the anti-vaccinationists claim he did.
His point is that by reducing deaths from infectious disease, through vaccination, it is possible for people to voluntarily decrease family size, because they no longer need to have a dozen children in hopes two or three will survive to adulthood. Somehow, the people who are against vaccines to not see that as an admirable goal. For them, dead kids are to be expected.
