Funny op, 'gun free zone' declaration made to discourage guns in the store. guess the perp couldn't read....that's why all fast food places have colorful pictures.
It does, however, demonstrate perfectly the absurdity of, 'past the point of diminishing return' anti gun legislation that is totally ineffective.
New category of firearms to take its place among big game rifles, the perfect gun for the datk continent's 'dangerous five', the best shotgun for upland birds, best shotgun for ducks, best rifle for prarie dogs and other varmints and the best caliber and gun design for robbing stores in 'gun free' zones. Convenient size but handy for the lone robber, shiny to divert attention from the perps description. Fits easily in your coat pocket. Light and sweet colored grips especially for starbucks.
For Starbucks it's a - probably the - primary one. Maybe if there were some sort of safety issue at Starbucks, other perspectives would play in more, but as another poster pointed out, the evidence shows Starbucks' policy of being gun free hasn't made Starbucks unsafe.
We all recognize the stupidity of this type of criminal. What's unfortunate is that only about half of us seem to recognize the stupidity of 'gun free zones.'
Starbucks is not a 'gun free zone'. They simply asked people to not carry openly, and it was because of people like these (below). This guy would have been tossed out of any reputable gun range for carrying a loaded AR like that.

I am sure the patrons are happy it's gun free zone, reduces the chances of some concealed carry patron defending the store.
Anyone know if a store has ever been robbed where concealed carry is allowed, maybe the great publication "American Thinker" has some examples.
