I thought of taking a trip out there but don't you have to be a resident to get the weed? I don't know, I don't know all the details. What I do know is I wish I lived there.
Don't have to be a resident, just cannot take it with you when you leave the state.
trends do matter when we are talking a big majority for legalization.. Huckabee would be hated more than Obama, bush , Nancy Pelosi combined IF HE DID WHAT YOU SUJESTED
LOL, he would be hated only by a small fringe minority of addicts like you who care only about the legalization of drugs. Most people have other priorities, and even if they support the legalization, it is pretty low in their priority list. Huckabee has a good chance of winning, even though he has been clear he does not support legalization in any shape or form, even for medical use.
Think of all the money saved when you don't have cops chasing after pot users and illegal sellers, keeping people out prison, and the cost of prosecution. Also how much will be raised on revenue from taxes. It's also $400 million taken out of the hands of mass murdering criminal cartels. Hopefully all states following soon.

The potential market for marijuana sales is huge.
It is expected to grow by 64 percent to $2.34 billion in 2014 with recreational pot added in Colorado and Washington, according to ArcView Market Research, which tracks and publishes data on the cannabis industry
Tourism is the second largest industry in Colorado. More than 60 million people visited the state in 2012, according to the consulting firm Longwoods International, which conducted research for the Colorado Tourism Office.
Throw in sales from neighboring states as well. Highly unlikely that every car entering a neighboring state is going to be stopped.
They are actually more concerned about cars entering CO from other States because they expect the cartels to step in in force to supply cheaper drugs. Same thing happened in Holland which is now the distribution capital of drugs to all of Europe.

Why are Republicans so against marijuana legalization, and why do those that don't partake in it, feel the need to inflict their views on everyone else. If you don't want to do it, don't. BTW isn't cannabis a PLANT, not a drug. Doesn;t a drug have to be processed somehow, like alcohol, pills, narcotics, etc?? I choose not to smoke, so I don't. Problem solved.
No, just stating facts. The neighboring states are on high alert. Read up. They are talking about "sticker shock" already, which will ensure the cartels will step in to bring in cheaper black market drugs.
I hope weed gets the same treatment tobacco gets. After all, that terrible second hand smoke is a health risk.
Colorado needs a law that protects everyone from inhaling some hippy's deadly pot fumes, no matter where they are.
