I never heard of a woman singing when she decided to abort. It's
never a happy decision. Yet one that has to be made sometimes.
I never heard of a sane person singing when another was sentenced to death. And that
never needs to be decided.
A society is made of its citizens, ALL of them, however harsh and difficult that might sound. And by citizens, I mean those who were actually born and lived a life.
We need to take everyone into account as part of our (in)humanity so that we can improve as a society.
Abortion can be minimized with a lot of sex education and accessible contraception. To do that needs open minds about sex. That should be easy to do for intelligent people.
I am definitely pro-choice and anti-death penalty (outlawing abortion doesn't suppress it and death penalty doesn't deter crime anyway) and that doesnt keep me from wishing there would be near to zero occasion for both.
