You may be on to something ($$$) here. OKC should openly solicit religions of the world to build an icon on the grounds and have a vast "Freedom of Religion Park" that would attract people from all faiths and corners of the globe to come see. The various faiths could also have members there to pass out pamphlets and answer tourists' questions. It would give travelers good reason to take a break from dodging potholes and busted pavement on I-40. Eventually, a theme park might emerge with religion-based rides like "Stairway to Heaven".

And deprive all those tourist traps that sell jade and have snake pits!?!?!?

If you listen to Stairway to Heaven backwards it tells you to follow Satan... Coincidence?
You do recognize the difference between laughing with you religious nut jobs and laughing at you, don't you? Because that's what this thread and all the new monuments are about …
I'm just wondering what other name calling is acceptable here? Does it make you feel superior to be so intolerant of the beliefs of others and to call them names?
Just some information. The satanists aren't a real religion, they are atheists who call themselves satanists in an attempt to mock Christianity. The other group fighting over the ten commandments monument is called "The Church of the flying spaghetti monster."
Secondly, the satanist group isn't even from Oklahoma. They are from New York. They could really care less about Oklahoma in any real terms. They are just starting this controversy because they want to **** off Christians and/or Okies.
Thus, while I'm agnostic. I don't really care that much about Ten Commandments. They basically just say "don't be a selfish prick". And while I think the monument is a bad idea and will probably have to be removed. I cant help but think, I wish these New Yorkers would really learn to mind their own business. But when in the history of ever, has a New Yorker been able to mind his own business?
I'm kinda glad this happened. It exposes how rude and childish anti-Christian & anti-religion bigots are. They think they're being clever, when in reality they just showing themselves to be arrogant jerks.
I'm thinking then same let people see the darkness these people bring to others.

The Ten Commandments are there because of their historical significance and the reverence it represents to the people who live there. The Baphomet statue was paid for by a group halfway across the country, specifically to spite Christians.
