Yes. There is a lot of evidence that this vaccine is harmful. I don't see why anyone would subject themselves or their children to this when regular pap smears are an effective preventative measure.

Go ahead and start your organization.

The issue that I have is that not everyone is fine after the vaccine. It's not like it's 10 or 20 people. It's hundreds. I'm 19 (never been sexually active) and I have until I'm 26 to decide, but quite frankly, I don't think I want it. Then again, what if I do find someone that I love and want to have sex? I'm undecided on the matter.

Thanks for sharing your anecdote. I'm sure even the pro-vac nutjobs will disregard it as they only go by the bible of peer review. Or maybe they won't, who knows? They are a funny bunch when the small sample sizes align with their narrative.

Lets say theres a disease going around, it kills 1 out of 10 people. And EVERYONES infected.

Heres a shot-100% cure, but 1 in 1000 get harmed.

You'd be complaining and saying that people shouldn't take the shot as its harmful.

Monogamy, condoms and very regular pap smears.

Yea, except it is not as cut & dry as that. It's pretty hard to torture the data in that scenario. But when you have 300,000,000 samples @ $100 a pop.

And there is NO disease that infects EVERYBODY.

Yea, a lot more wiggle room for sophistry there.

Pap smears are an effective preventative measure? Since when? Pap smears don't prevent cervical cancer.

Exactly! Paps MAY pick up a cancer when it is in its early stages, but they don't prevent a damn thing. Studies have shown Gardasil does not increase promiscuity.

Pap smears are an effective preventative measure? Yes. Since when? Since for as long as I can recall.

CDC - Cervical Cancer Screening
Quote:
Cervical cancer is the easiest female cancer to prevent, with regular screening tests and follow-up. Two screening tests can help prevent cervical cancer or find it early:
1)The Pap test (or Pap smear) looks for precancers, cell changes on the cervix that might become cervical cancer if they are not treated appropriately.
2)The HPV test looks for the virus (human papillomavirushuman papillomavirus) that can cause these cell changes.
