there will always be poor people, if you gave them all the money they need there will still be poor people. more money, cost of living goes up, rich get richer, poor have more money but still be consider poor because prices goes up to cover that money.

Me personally, i don't give a hoot about diversity. some liberals however love diversity because they think a more diverse community makes a place more tolerant and progressive.

Most liberals I know are middle class white people. Most liberal minorities I know don't really give a crap about politics and go vote when it's time to. So your whole premise is wrong.
