and what would that do, I don't understand? Waht would a Pirates free Zone do?
well, let me tell you, they actually kill people, so, in order to keep them from boarding the ships/cruisers, and others small crafts....you've got to do something?
More guns for an already violent situation is NOT the solution!
Pirates Free Zone works if you use signs with large fonts. No self-respecting pirate would walk into a Pirates Free Zone, which is a proven fact by many Gun Free Zones in USA.
No sir, the number of attacks isn't small, they would have you believe that, but it isn't small, matter of fact, how many boats do they find with no one aboard? Lots, and it's usually pirates, this isn't just happening, it's been going on for years but this movie now, bought attention to it. Once in a while, pirate attack cruise ships and take children to sell them....we here in the states have no idea....
Good source. Let's say the number of successful attacks is small. But if you have sources about what you are saying, I would like to read them. You speak of some conspiracy to downplay the problem. I haven't seen anything like this, so please share your evidence.
Ship owners don't want to pay for trained security staff, pay for the guns, or have the liability of the guns being misused. Would the US allow a Chinese cargo ship bristling with guns and cannon to dock in LA?
ok, so have a security company weld a big gun at the very top of the ship, able to rotate in a complete circle....and BOOM! No more pirates? NO?
the whole thing stinks....
You don't need to do that. Boom, big hole in the boat/engine.

The owners want to but the insurance companies won't let them.
