Maryland will be able to survive the loss of 300 employees. Tennessee has lower taxes, cheaper labor but quite the different lifestyle, look at the bright side they will be closer to the Noah's Ark theme Park.

One's lifestyle and spiritual beliefs aside, if Beretta announced they were moving a manufacturing facility from, say, TN to MD, I wonder how many applicants they would get for those 300 jobs?
I would have loved to see them come to NC. I love my 92FS, and their shotguns ,oh my.
As for the comment about not selling to LE that are in anti-gun areas, how many are still carrying Berretta firearms? It seems like lots of them are moving over to the S&W M&P models. I'm genuinely curious and don't feel like that much googling.
Well, we can't have them all and I am glad to see that they are at least moving to a gun friendly state. The people of Maryland and other such states can scoff all they want at business leaving their states, but the fact is, it is all revenue that would have been going to the state that now isn't. Sure, those jobs will eventually be replaced, but how many minimum wage jobs does it take to offset the loss of one decent job? I am glad we got Colt to move some of their facilities here to Texas and encourage other gun manufacturers and accessory manufacturers to follow suit. That said, if you decide against Texas, then decide on a good gun friendly state like Tennessee....

That doesn't count supporting businesses. In any manufacturing business, there are some steps that are outsourced. It could be something simple like heat treating to milling complete parts. I'm picking up my latest purchase from my FFL almost a month after buying it. The manufacturer had issues with the company that anodizes their parts which delayed shipments for almost 3 weeks. This is not some small manufacturer, they are an OEM for dozens of gun manufacturers as well as providing aircraft parts to Boeing.
