If the GOP pushes thru amnesty this nation is finished. We'll just end up being another latin socialist banana republic.

I guess its true "Nations Will Rise Only To Fall"

Who exactly will they lose votes to? The Democrats who started the push for amnesty?

This country should not be importing poor people. Only the independently wealthy should be permitted to apply for citizenship because they won't arrive on day one with their hands out for unearned benefits.

It used to be the law that anyone coming into this country had to have an American sponsor who was responsible for paying to support an immigrant, not the government.

Amnesty is the fall-back plan when no comprehensive immigration bill is forthcoming.

No more amnesty. Period.

Throw all illegals out regardless of circumstance.

What does that mean? 87% of Americans dont want a cold, but once they have one most will try to alleviate the symptoms. Wishing a cold away does not work.

No one wants illegal immigration, but since illegal aliens are here, wishing them gone is not gonna work either.

No party has a proposal for "amnesty" and most likely pathway to citizenship will not even be part of the House plan.

The House will most likely only agree to "legalization" with no possiblity of a way to citizenship.
