Ditto on Samantha. But not because she was friendly and firm.
She could twitch her little nose and make everything
better e.g. no deficit, no wars, prosperity for everyone.
Yes, it is great in TV land to make believe

Too bad most Americans pick their leaders from the same place

With Jane Hathoway as Secretary of State. Smart, diplomatic, levelheaded and asexual. Not unlike Hillary Clinton.

And Granny as Vice President. Except they'll have to change the title from "Vice" to "Nice". After finding out what "vice" means, she don't want nothin' to do with such goins' on. (I'm referring to the episode "Jed Incorporated" where Drysdale organized a tax shelter corporation for the Clampetts).

But there's still that citizenship issue. Plus he owns property outside the US (well, on Bajor, so it's outside the Solar System, too). No doubt as a tax shelter.

what citizenship issue? his father was an american, remember he lived in new orleans all his life, and sisko was raised by his biological father, so again no citizenship issue there. as to owning property on bajor, so what? how many politicians, including presidents, and ex presidents, own property abroad?

You are supposed to pick characters not actors.
