And it will fall just like all of the rest of them are falling. States can not pass unconstitutional laws.

Never mind this is DOMA part 2, it will fall just like DOMA 1 fell. The USSC already ruled on this issue at the federal level.

Cruz can introduce whatever the hell he wants. It doesn't have a chance in hell of passing.

He's wasting his time too.

I guess some people are bound and determined to be on the wrong side of history.

The train has left the station. If he wants to sound like Strom Thurmond in 1964, be my guest. He couldn't stop the inevitable either with his "states rights" nonsense.

Cruz/Lee and all the other leaders that believe in the CORRECT way of marriage need to seriously start thinking of using something other than these idiotic laws to get stuff done...when you have tyrants in robes who care nothing for the constitution or the right of the people to run their own state the dye has been cast. Its time to wake up smell the coffee and get on with it.

You mean the people in robes that are upholding the Constitution while politicians try to create laws that violate our Constitutional Rights?

And this will only make it even more likely that Cruz will never get to the white house. Thank god! The social conservatives are preventing this country from granting liberty to many Americans who have done nothing wrong. You are the same people who believed that interracial marriage was an abomination.

I'm tired of social conservatives telling people what they can and cannot do when no one gets hurt. Go move to Russia or some south american hell hole were gays are barred from Marriage.

I didn't see the part in the US Constitution, where it states that marriage, in any form is any of the Federal Governments business.

Can someone point that part out to me, so we can debate the law as it is written.....

And who defines "CORRECT"? I am heterosexual, but married outside of my race. Per my mom, this was not a "CORRECT" marriage. I will not let anyone else define the legitimacy of whom I chose to love. Those tyrants in robes simply do not support your desired form of tyranny. What part of Land of the Free do you not understand? Where does Freedom end and bigotry begin?
