Notice the poster didn't also comment that he/she paid premiums for 30 years before even able to use medicare and is still paying premiums.

You're welcome, kids! You voted for him!
This is a new one. Please clarify this.

Why do you spend so much time ragging on those on medicare, medicaid etc, on one posting and then on the very next one, celebrate policies which make these handouts available.

Your postings flip flop faster than a dying fish.. Anything to hate..

There was never any attempt at objectivity. Not even superficial objectivity.

Heres a group that would probably lean Republican. It looks like they are the biggest winners under the ACA.
You can look at this two ways they are taking money from the young to pay for their health care or they are simply keeping their taxes and using it to pay for health care. Anyone wants to whine about transfering money from young to old you can start with Medicare which borrows 240 billion a year and is barely means tested. The ACA is means tested and revenue neutral.
Pftttt. Looks like some older people are NOT the winners under the ACA act. Our premiums doubled and we have a wimpy policy to look forward to. At least we have paid into Medicare unlike the ACA which will rip dollars out of others hands to support some. But we are not the winners here.....I know quite a few others in our boat as well.

This bill was passed by your party and signed by your president. Whine all you want to, but it is what it is.

Had this president done what he said he was going to do by cutting much waste out of Medicare, we would be in far better shape. But, I have been on the planet a long time and witnessed your DNC using the elderly for votes for decades by promising more and more Medicare perks, like endless knee and hip replacements, endless motorized scooters etc. Your party is the one responsible for this bloated mess. The GOP were the evil ones as depicted by the DNC as wanting to get rid of it. So what is it you want again......If you do not get rid of it or at least overhaul it then you youngsters have to pay for it.

I think most of the Tea Party types on Medicare actually think they are paying for all of their health care with their $133 monthly payment and past payroll contributions. They love to complain about the ACA meanwhile they are pulling out three times what they put into Medicare. Young people will pay $240 billion out of general revenues or maybe borrowing from China to cover Medicare this year. So much for the thrifty Tea Party types.
