Bush Jr.

Reagan is massively overrated. People obsess over his achievements in short-term growth, without understanding the cost, the expense of long-term growth. Many of today's problems can be traced back to Reagan-era decisions.

Obama will be viewed historically in a positive light. People always complain about the current president, no matter what, but he's provided stability during a time of serious economic crisis.

G.W. Bush is one of the worst presidents since the civil war. Wall Street owned his ass through and through.

Thank you for not going back to Jimmy Carter. It would have made it hard to choose last place.

Reagan
Bush Junior
Clinton
Bush Senior (I was with him on the broccoli. He lost me on the "No New Taxes.")
Obama (I know nothing. I see nothing. I hear nothing.)

Reagan

GWB - Good against terrorists, good for tax cuts. But signed huge deficits, Part D, "stimulus"
GHWB - New World Order, gun ban, new taxes

Clinton - Tax increases, cut military, socialism, useless lies, let terrorists develop

Obama - Obamacare (socialism), lies (socialism), lies (Benghazi), huge govt corruption (Benghazi, IRS), NSA out of control, unbelievable deficits, silly leftist programs that didn't work

While my first thought was Clinton I stopped to realize how much more difficult the situation was for Obama and without any help from the right he has turned things around. for that reason I'd have to select him. The Bushes were largely detrimental
Bush Sr. was the only president on the list that didn't spend or bubble his way to false prosperity and tried to get the US to face up to it's economic decline.

We got rid of him for that.

Then we got Clinton whom deregulated, bubbled (stocks), goosed the economy with PRIVATE debt (credit cards anyone?) and to top it off NAFTA.

Bush II - Continued the bubbles (hey, he learned from dad that being fiscally responsible gets you fired), blew a fortune on war but managed to ride Murica! patriotism to re-election. He sucked all the way around.

Then the bubbles really popped.

Obama (aka Bush III) - Spent and spent and spent....which his synchophants think fixed things....but it's just more kicking of the can down the road. Didn't punish the banks or the corporatists, continued foreign policy as if Cheney was still running the show....does give nice speeches though.

The sad fact that I have to point out that Bush II also inherited a bubble and then just bubbled out of that bubble and that Reagan bubbled out of Carters mess (and so forth) is going to be lost on the kool-aiders here.
