This shouldn't be news at all. Whites in this country are under attack by liberals and the media who are marginalizing whites as racists through the practice of 'micro-aggression'. The demonization of this girl by the hyper-sensitive media and left is a perfect example. Whites have been wearing Indian garb in the movies and at other events for over a century but now all of the sudden it's racist to do so. I admire this girl for using her freedom of expression wearing the headdress. Do any of you?
I hadn't heard about it until you brought it up, so it certainly isn't the big deal you are making it. So congratulations for perpetuating this non-story. Just looks like another spoiled white girl to me. Why should I admire her? What has she done for anybody else?

I haven't seen any news story about her. Maybe you should take a chill pill and calm down. It's a non-story and you're making it into one.....LOL!!!! FAIL Congratulations of doing the job of "the national media" you hate so much. I swear, you can lead a tea partier to knowledge, but you can't make him think

Why? Because it's a big deal with America's only indigenous population.
White actors in brown makeup played all the parts that should have been given to Indian actors for decades.
What trips your racial trigger, Brit? Have you ever been parodied as a person by someone of another race and heritage? Have you ever lived on a rez in a claptrap house with little hope of ever escaping and finding a better life?
I don't think so. Try thinking about what is most important to you, your family's heritage and traditions, and then imagine some beautiful little airhead parading around in a cheap glitzy parody of what you and your people have held most dear for all their lives and for your kid's lives to come. And just for a little money. Or even worse, for free, just for a little publicity.
How would you feel? Or would you have no feelings at all? Do you have any dignity?
You don't need to answer. I don't care if you have any dignity or not, but our natives do. It's about the only thing left they have. Respect works both ways. The more you give, the more you get back. They can wear a headdress of their own design, done by their own hands, with far more dignity and honesty than you or I ever could. They should be the ones who decide what is fitting or not when it comes to them.
And our tribes have women who are just a beautiful as any white girl. Since they are just as much a part of America as you and me, why not give one of their girls a shot at the job first? After all, they're in the casino business, too.
Micro-agression sounds like another way of saying bull manure to me. Put that term in the garbage can where it belongs.

Read the article. American Indians find this offensive. It has nothing to do with liberals. Why is she even wearing an Indian headress. It's disrespectful.
