Created or saved - I had forgotten about that little gem. The OP's correct - there has been so many lies, so many misleading statements, so much subterfuge over the years that it's too hard to keep track of it all anymore.
It's been a very very very long six years. No wonder the country is so tired.
Maybe not "cooking the books" as the act of removing someone that freshly made it into the country is deporting them. But at the very least its creating a false equivalency by comparing those numbers to previous administrations numbers when previous administrations did not include these types of deportations in their final counts.

Did you read the article? they changed the way deportation is calculated thus changing the numbers and cooking the books.
