I'm no liberal, but I fail to see why there's a media kerfuffle over a legal adult choosing to be a porn actress. Unless she's being forced to do so against her will, everyone should just butt out and let her make whatever decisions she wants to. It's ridiculous that this is even news
I knew of one who did it while in college. I didn't go to school with her, I just know her first film was while in college. I have never seen her stuff.
Anyway, there is no issue here other than maybe it would be a little weird if she is taking a woman's studies class.

On his last day of teaching at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Professor Noel Ignatiev reportedly received a standing ovation when he told his class that white males are a cancer and they should kill themselves, Jim Hoft reported at the Gateway Pundit Monday, citing an interview posted at the Diversity Report.
“If you are a white male, you don’t deserve to live. You are a cancer, you’re a disease, white males have never contributed anything positive to the world! They only murder, exploit and oppress non-whites! At least a white woman can have sex with a black man and make a brown baby but what can a white male do? He’s good for nothing. Slavery, genocides against aboriginal peoples and massive land confiscation, the inquisition, the holocaust, white males are all to blame! You maintain your white male privilege only by oppressing, discriminating against and enslaving others," he said, according to Ivan Fernando.
Fernando, who wrote the piece at the Diversity Report, called Ignatiev's comments "sound and reasonable" words that "resonate with every enlightened and progressive mind."
So? Are porn actresses not permitted to take classes? I know a young woman who put herself through dentistry school by doing pay-per-view showers online. Made a fortune that way. In any case, she's now a dentist and doing quite well for herself.
She could be even richer if she added part of her shower show to her practice. Perhaps cleaning someone's teeth while both of you are in the shower.

While filling in today for American Family Radio host Sandy Rios, Austin Ruse commented on the media frenzy surrounding a Duke University freshman who announced that she is a porn actress.
Ruse, who leads the ultraconservative Catholic Family & Human Rights Institute (C-Fam), promptly blamed the college’s women’s studies department and said that “the hard left, human-hating people that run modern universities” should “all be taken out and shot.”
"People for the American Way" is an ultra left-wing (socialist) organization. It figures that they would be whipped into a frenzy over what is basically an everyday expression.
"On September 11, 2001, nineteen Arab hijackers too demonstrated their willingness to die – and to kill – for their dream. They died so that their people might live, free and in dignity."
"As to those in the World Trade Center…Let’s get a grip here, shall we? True enough, they were civilians of a sort. But innocent? Gimme a break. …If there was a better, more effective, or in fact any other way of visiting some penalty befitting their participation upon the little Eichmanns inhabiting the sterile sanctuary of the twin towers, I’d really be interested in hearing about it."
The left seems to have doubled-down on avoiding the real issues this year.

Somehow the Left always seem to ignore their own radicals. The linked article from "People for the American Way" was a bit over the top as the radio host used a common, every day expression. I'd like to have a nickle for every time I heard my mother saying [somebody] "ought to be shot" when I was growing up. We understood it was just an expression of disapproval.
Leftists get worked up and their panties in a wad over such trivial nonsense! Yet they ignore what is said every day by their own kind (Bill Maher, for example), and those on this forum who identify with "Progressivism" regularly express their wishes that conservatives need to be eliminated in some way. Some have even suggested "re-education" camps.
What do you really expect from the ignorant extremists?
We should be asking ourselves why more mainstream avenues, like the GOP, are courting nuts like him as voters.

I agree with Ruse. Her story doesn’t simply reflect a troubled very young woman. It reflects a very troubled culture.
I agree with Ruse also, but I wouldn't call it a "toxic stew," I would call it "slop" from the "Progressive" slop trough.
The modern university is what gave birth to "Progressivism" in this country. It's what is wrong with our "education" system today. Education isn't taking place. Indoctrination is.
