I didn't see in the article that it was a food stamp card. EBT stands for Electronic Benefits Transfer. It could be Unemployment Compensation, or Workers Compensation reimbursement. Probably a lot of other benefits too.

That's what every other post in this thread keeps reminding them of but they fail to acknowledge it because their SOCO (Single Overriding Communication Objective) is "Food Stamps being Used to Buy Edible Panties!!!!".

The business jurisdiction has to apply for it and seek approval.
Most places do not automatically accept it unless they are already approved.

Heck see kids with food stamp card buying candy all the time legal or not. most states quite food stamps because they were accept for drugs as currency.
