This woman has a lot of courage to stand up to the bigotry of this false church. Jesus would not stone her, he would tell her that her sin is forgiven and to go sin no more. He was against stoning people, for we are all sinners.
That being said, I don't understand the point of this thread or why its even in the news to begin with. Its a small radical church in a New York City ghetto, it doesn't represent Christians or black people. If this is an attempt to try and make all Christians look like bigots then you have desperately failed.
Of course that is the intent. That is what liberals do.
The Bible also says men who lie with men as they do with women should be put to death. Are you going to volunteer to do the deed, or should you just take the gay guys to the church and let the parishioners do it as a class project.
The Judaic law was before Jesus Christ.
Jesus said that "not one iota of rhe law would be abolished" and that he lived and died to fulfill the law.
Therefore, Jesus already paid the penalty for all sinners.
The Atlah black Christian in Harlem has a sign outside saying "JESUS WOULD STONE HOMOS". So a lesbian rang their door bell and asked for her stoning. In another incident back in January, a Louisiana woman brought a stone to a city council meeting and shamed a councilman into backing down from his unequal rights for gays proposal. I expect we'll be seeing more of these shaming incidents where a public face confronts ideology and puts a human face to those affected.
I doubt that there are going to be any stonings conducted by US Chrstians anytime soon. If a lesbian in a Muslim country asked for her stoning, they would probably oblige her.
Since everything everybody said should be taken at face value, I guess than means you're an aspiring killer.
