Twenty-five percent (25%) of Democrat primary voters are African American.
The Democrats have 53 United States Senators. Not one is African American. That means 0% of the Democrat Senators are African American.
Why don't Democrat Senators in states with Democrat governors step aside so African Americans can be appointed to the Senate?
After all, aren't Democrats the ones who believe in affirmative action and quotas?
Practice what you preach, Democrats.
I'm just nitpicking here, but there's your problem- Senators are not appointed, but elected. Perhaps it's a matter of being able to raise funds? Perhaps African-Americans can't find enough people to donate money to campaigns? I'm just thinking about it here.
Anyways, elected officials are strange. They have this habit of outwardly appearing to be who people want in office representing them, but turn around and change everything once they've gotten their ticket on the gravy train.
For the record, I'm not a "lib" nor "conservative" and if not for the fact that nobody ever runs as a third party, I wouldn't be a registered Republican...
I see none of the board's resident libbie Oblama bootlickers can answer the question: Why aren't there any African American Democrat U.S. Senators?
Why are there no Republican ones? For the same reason. No African American Senator has been elected since Obama in 2004.
