Give it a rest already, POLITICAL CORRUPTION is NOT capitalism!!!!!
Your persistent ignorance on this issue is astounding.
How is it not?
You're using monetary capital to acquire political capital. If you're not using your money to best serve your personal interests, you're not a very good capitalist.
Every damned thing the left HATED about Bush, Obama has adopted as his own, and then doubled or tripled them all, and the *******s just smile. It's why I have little to no respect for these Obama supporters, they've sold out their principles and lost all integrity.
Yes, Obama has continued or expanded every Bush failure. Then added his own.
And it's the GOP who supported the latest SCOTUS decision so that donors can donate to even more individual campaigns, thus allowing money to engineer voting blocs of politicians.
Actually, the GOP had nothing to do with that decision. The SCOTUS made that decision on their own because they want to preserve our right to freedom of speech.
Apparently you believe that, in our capitalist system, if I am voting on a piece of legislation, and a wealthy donor offers me a fair price for my vote because he believes that it will benefit him, that this is a good thing and not corruption.
That is corruption regardless of who does it. That is not Capitalism.
Political corruption is selling votes, support and public policy. Capitalism is selling items of value to the highest bidder. Capitalism and corruption often go hand in hand together.
Your persistent ignorance on this issue is astounding.
OK, now I see why you hate capitalism. You simply don't understand Capitalism, therefore you hate it.
