Granted, we are currently overbought. Volatility is now ramping into the close.
The market is reacting to Amazon and LinkedIn tanking and dragging down the whole tech sector. The CSM article is not so much about today's number than the overall situation.

Most of them aren't necessary.

Sorry - quite a bit more to it than AMZN & LNKD.
Almost all momentum equities have recently lost mojo.
Volatility was up 6% today. All 3 indices are down.
I did not mean to suggest that today's action is solely due to this report.

Yes, it is more than just those two. NASDAQ has been wild for the past few weeks.

It wasn't a bad report. Nothing to shoot fireworks about but not bad either like last December was.

I'm just glad that now the bulk of Obamacare has been implemented and MAYBE Republicans can stop throwing fits and work with Obama on job creation.

Were not doing "better." Population has increased a lot since 2008. Having the same number of jobs as six years ago isn't good. Moreover, median income is down considerably. What kind of jobs are being created?

The federal government outsourcing jobs to the private sector, doesnt really decrease a job, it just changes how it gets counted.

If the economy is recovered, then why are Democrats still moaning to not reduce things like unemployment or welfare?
